Beer label musings

Lagunita's Brown Shugga (great freaking name), unfortunately being used a a candle holder and not a refreshing beverage, piqued my curiosity (it was sitting alone on a big oak table in a quaint little bar). I started reading the small print around the label, which was quite funny and somewhat cryptic:

We believe this special ale is something unique. Feeding brown cane sugar to otherwise cultured brewery yeast is akin to feeding raw shark to your gerbil. It is unlikely to ever occur without human intervention. And it looks weird besides. But it has happened and now it's too late.

I love when you find messages in unexpected places, like on the bottom of an Innocent Smoothie carton, or inside the cap of a Snapple.
