Character is Plot.

I love Matt Rainwaters' work. It reminds me of what my creative writing professor used to say - character is plot. As readers, we stumble into the lives, struggles and conflicts of characters, not simply the twists and turns of plot. Action and events are rooted in character portrayal and, to some degree, attachment.
