The litmus test
My father's an abstract painter and never liked when people asked him to explain what his art means. Still doesn't. So I created my own meaning. That didn't stop him from asking me what the heck a creative strategist did. Luckily copywriting is much easier to explain. Checkout this documentary series by Lernert & Sander in which 9 abstract artists explain to their mom and dad what their work is all about. Watch the series here.

The Getaway
Love this idea. A reality game that challenges you to hunt, catch and keep a MINI using your iPhone. Find the virtual MINI and then stay at least 50m away from everybody else in Stockholm for a week. If someone comes within 50m, they can instantly take the virtual MINI back. If you manage to keep it, you win the new MINI Countryman.

Dead Drops
There's something exciting and intriguing about anonymous exchanges or dead drops. Aram Bartholl created a file sharing network embedded in accessible public spaces. He 'injected' USB flash drives into walls, buildings and curbs accessible to anyone. People can go to these places (so far 5 in NYC) to drop or find files on a dead drop. Just plug your laptop to a wall, house or pole to share files. Each dead drop contains a readme.txt file explaining the project. Makes me wish I still lived in NYC.
